Collonges la Rouge

This medieval city is located in one of the furthermost corners of France, in a department called Corrèze. Locals boast its exceptional heritage; one that has been little-known for too long. Almost abandoned in the eighties Collonges-la-Rouge owes its resurgence to its former mayor Charles Ceyrac who came with the idea to create an independant association named "the Loveliest Villages in France". One would assure Collonges-la-Rouge stands as both its emblem and its jewel.

Since it became a symbol of a countryside rich with forgotten treasures and memories, the village attracts each year thousands of curious tourists. They come to explore the narrow streets of this architectural jewel and to get lost in a maze made out of red stones and secrets. Somewhere in the middle of this flamboyant labyrinth is hidden our workshop «Prat Joaillerie». Here our attention goes to other kinds of gems, as rare and precious as our medieval city. Those are meant for the people in love with french craftsmanship... and jewels.
